EKATÊ
is a Nambikwara word that means FIRE
They inhabit the cerrado so much, as for the amazon rainforest and transition areas between these two ecosystems. The Nambikwara occupied an extensive region in past and characterized by spatial mobility. Endowed with a material culture apparently simple have an extremely complex cultural universe. The Nambikwara have preserved their identity for its haughtiness.
